Bio
Niamh started out in music as a talent booker for a London-based club in 2017. Her career has since evolved into music journalism, and she currently writes for DJ Mag, Resident Advisor and Beatportal on a freelance basis.
Niamh gained her experience in the music realm by working for clubs and artists in various capacities. Her musical knowledge does not come from a classroom; everything she has learnt so far comes from years of working behind the scenes as a booker, promoter, event manager, door manager, and on the dancefloor itself as a DJ and rave attender. This experience seeps into her approach with writing, as she gets to know each client personally, puts herself in their shoes, and nails the vision they want to share through the medium of words.
As well as contributing to international music platforms, Niamh works with independent record labels, artists, clubs and promoters who need press releases, bios and other written content ahead of launching a new release, project or event.
